Welcome to Kibo. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. The service

Kibo is a custom keyboard for iPhone offering themes, sound effects, light effects, haptic feedback, an emoji panel, and related typing preferences. The keyboard extension offers an optional Full Access switch (off by default) which, when enabled, is used only for the clipboard copy/paste buttons. Kibo does not collect or transmit anything you type.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the App or its assets, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

3. Your conduct

• You must use the App lawfully and must not use it for any unlawful purpose or to infringe the rights of others.
• You are solely responsible for the content you type or send using the keyboard.

4. Price and purchases

Kibo is free to download. Typing, emoji, kaomoji and word suggestions are free and always will be, along with a selection of themes, sounds and lighting effects.

The App offers a single one-time purchase, “Kibo Pro”, which unlocks the remaining themes, sounds and lighting effects and the additional features described in the App. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. Kibo Pro also includes features added in later updates at no further cost.

• All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not process, receive, or store payment information.
• Purchases are tied to your Apple Account and can be restored from within the App.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies; we cannot issue them.

5. Apple standard EULA

Unless a separate license agreement is provided, your use of Kibo is also governed by Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.

6. Intellectual property

The App’s interface, code, themes, sounds, and design are owned by the developer. Emoji glyphs, system fonts, and other third-party assets remain the property of their respective owners.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

9. Changes and termination

We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the App at any time. We may update these Terms; continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
