Verses ("the App", also known as "经读") is an immersive Bible-reading application. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains how the App handles your information. In short: the App runs entirely on your device and does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

The App has no user accounts and no login. We do not collect, store, or transmit your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, or any other personally identifiable information. We have no servers that receive your data.

2. Local Storage Only

All content and activity stay on your device:

• Bible text is bundled inside the App and stored in a local database (SQLite); it is read directly from your device.
• Your reading progress, bookmarks, highlights, and settings are stored locally on your device (using SQLite and your device's secure storage).
• None of this data is uploaded to us or to any third party.

3. No Third-Party Tracking or Advertising

The App contains no third-party analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no tracking technologies. We do not profile you and we do not use your data for advertising.

4. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because the App collects no personal information at all, no special data-collection concerns apply to children.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Because your data lives only on your device, you are always in control of it. Deleting the App from your device permanently removes all locally stored data associated with it. There is no separate deletion request needed since we hold no copy of your data.

6. Network Use

The App is designed to work offline. It does not upload your reading data or personal information to any server.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above and publish the updated policy at this address. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

Verses（下称「本 App」，中文名「经读」）是一款圣经经文沉浸式阅读应用。我们十分重视您的隐私。本政策说明本 App 如何处理您的信息。简而言之：本 App 完全在您的设备本地运行，不收集、不上传、不分享任何个人信息。

1. 我们不收集的信息

本 App 没有账号系统，也无需登录。我们不收集、不存储、不上传您的姓名、邮箱、电话、位置、通讯录或任何其他可识别个人身份的信息。我们没有任何服务器接收您的数据。

2. 仅在本地存储

所有内容与使用记录都保存在您的设备上：

• 经文数据打包在 App 内，存储于本地数据库（SQLite），直接从您的设备读取。
• 您的阅读进度、收藏、标注与设置均保存在设备本地（使用 SQLite 及设备安全存储）。
• 以上数据不会上传给我们或任何第三方。

3. 无第三方追踪与广告

本 App 不含任何第三方分析 SDK、广告 SDK 或追踪技术。我们不会对您进行画像，也不会将您的数据用于广告。

4. 儿童隐私

本 App 不会在明知的情况下收集任何人的数据，包括 13 岁以下的儿童。由于本 App 完全不收集任何个人信息，因此不存在针对儿童的特殊数据收集问题。

5. 数据保留与删除

由于您的数据仅存在于您的设备上，您始终对其拥有完全控制权。从设备上卸载本 App 即会永久清除与之关联的所有本地数据。由于我们不持有您数据的任何副本，因此无需另行提出删除申请。

6. 网络使用

本 App 设计为可离线使用，不会将您的阅读数据或个人信息上传至任何服务器。

7. 政策变更

我们可能会不时更新本隐私政策。届时我们将修改上方的「生效日期」，并在本地址发布更新后的政策。政策变更生效后，您继续使用本 App 即表示接受修订后的政策。
