This Privacy Policy explains how DualCam ("the App", "we", "us") handles information. DualCam is an iOS camera app that records from the front and back cameras at the same time and merges both streams into a single video file. Our approach to privacy is simple: the App does not collect your personal information, and your recordings never leave your device unless you choose to share or save them yourself.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information, and we do not operate any server that receives your data. DualCam has no account system, no login, and no backend. We cannot see, access, or retrieve anything you record.

No personal identifiers (name, email, phone number) are collected by the App.
No usage analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs are included.
No videos, audio, photos, or metadata are uploaded to us or to any third party.

Your recordings stay on your device. Every video you record with DualCam is written to the App's local storage (its Documents folder) on your iPhone. The App does not transmit this content anywhere. The developer has no ability to access your recordings.

2. Device Permissions and How They Are Used

To function, DualCam asks for the following iOS permissions. Each is used only for the purpose described, and only on your device:

Camera — required to capture video from the front and back cameras simultaneously. This is the core feature of the App.
Microphone — required to record the audio track that accompanies your video.
Photo Library — used only when you actively choose to save or export a finished recording to your system Photos library. The App writes to your library at your request; it does not read or scan your existing photos for any other purpose.

You can review or change these permissions at any time in the iOS Settings → Privacy & Security, or in Settings → DualCam.

3. Data Storage and Security

Recordings are stored locally within the App on your device. Because nothing is uploaded, the security of your content is governed by your device's own protections (such as your passcode and iOS encryption).

Please note: recordings kept inside the App are deleted if you delete DualCam from your device. If you want to keep a recording, save it to your Photos library or share it before uninstalling the App.

4. Children's Privacy

DualCam is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the App does not collect personal information from anyone, no such data is gathered from children either.

5. Third Parties

DualCam does not include third-party analytics, advertising networks, or data brokers, and does not share any information with third parties. When you choose to share a recording using iOS's share sheet, that action is handled by iOS and the destination app you select, and is subject to their terms — not ours.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Because your data lives only on your device, you are in full control of it. You can delete individual recordings within the App, remove exported copies from your Photos library, or delete the App entirely to remove all of its locally stored recordings.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
