- Account: Email address for authentication (password stored as encrypted hash)
- Activity data: GPS routes, distance, pace, heart rate, elevation, media clips you record
Collected Automatically
- Crash reports: Device model, OS version, stack traces (via Sentry) for bug fixing
- Anonymous usage stats: Feature usage patterns without personally identifiable information
We Do NOT Collect
- Name, phone number, ID documents
- Contacts, photos unrelated to in-app recording
- Persistent location tracking outside active recording sessions
2. How We Use Your Data
- Provide route tracking, statistics, and activity history
- Sync your data across devices when signed in
- Diagnose crashes and improve app quality
- We do not sell your data to third parties
- We do not use your data for advertising

4. Data Security
- All data transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption
- Passwords stored using bcrypt hashing — we cannot see your password
- Data stored on Supabase (US/EU servers)
5. Your Rights
- Export: Download all your data anytime (Settings → Export Data)
- Delete: Request account deletion by emailing dcjwf@qq.com
- We will process deletion requests within 30 business days
6. Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as your account exists. Upon account deletion, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days.
7. Children
TrailCam is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
8. Policy Changes
We will notify you of material changes through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
