None. Waterline has no user accounts, requires no registration or login, and integrates no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not collect your name, email, location, device identifiers, or any usage data.
Everything you create in the app — your display name, the tier you select for each layer, your daily check-ins, your potential and lever history, saved snapshots, and your language and sound preferences — is stored only in local storage on your device. It never leaves your device and is never uploaded to any server, including ours.
This also means: if you delete the app or switch devices, this data cannot be recovered. Use the in-app share features to save anything you want to keep before deleting.
We don't, because we never have it. All calculations (score, grade, the iceberg, what-if projections) run locally on your device.
We do not share, sell, or transfer your data to third parties — again, because we do not have it.
When you actively use a share feature in the app (for example, sharing a score poster or a what-if projection), the content you chose to share is handed to the app you select via the iOS share sheet. You initiate and control that entirely; we neither participate in nor record it.
Waterline is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children (in fact, we do not collect information from anyone).
Because all data is local to your device, you have complete control over it. You can erase everything at any time via Profile → Reset all data, or simply delete the app. No request to us is required.
Waterline is built on the iceberg model. Its scores, grades, and projections are for personal reflection only and do not constitute career, financial, medical, or mental-health advice, nor do they represent an objective evaluation of any person. Do not use them as the sole basis for a significant life decision.
If this policy changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If a future version ever introduces any form of data collection (there is no such plan), we will disclose it clearly in the app and ask for your consent.
